     George Leathley Nussey was born on 22 January 1875.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Nussey and Anne Elizabeth Brown.¹ He married Mabel Douglas Reid, daughter of William Reid, on 16 September 1907.¹ He died on 11 January 1953 at age 77.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He graduated from Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1896 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was a practising solicitor in 1902.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1919.¹ He lived at Boston, Lincolnshire, England.¹

     Mabel Douglas Reid was the daughter of William Reid.¹ She married George Leathley Nussey, son of Benjamin Nussey and Anne Elizabeth Brown, on 16 September 1907.¹ She died on 24 September 1965.¹
     From 16 September 1907, her married name became Nussey.¹
