     Henry Grace Kerr was born in 1897.¹ He was the son of Henry Scanlon Kerr and Olive Agnes Grace.¹ He died in 1917 at France, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Sir Hamilton William Kerr, 1st Bt. was born on 1 August 1903.¹ He was the son of Henry Scanlon Kerr and Olive Agnes Grace.¹ He died on 26 December 1974 at age 71.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Oldham between 1931 and 1945.¹ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1933 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in 1941 in the Auxiliary Air Force.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cambridge between 1950 and 1966.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Kerr, of Cambridge, co. Cambridge [U.K.] on 23 July 1957.¹ On his death his baronetcy became extinct.²
