     Sarah Georgina Cranstoun Todd is the daughter of Brigadier Alston Cranstoun Todd.1 She married Clement Napier Bertram Freeman-Mitford, 5th Baron Redesdale, son of Hon. Ernest Rupert Bertram Ogilvy Freeman-Mitford and Flora Napier, on 26 July 1958.1
     Her married name became Freeman-Mitford. After her marriage, Sarah Georgina Cranstoun Todd was styled as Baroness Redesdale on 31 December 1963.

     He was educated at Milton Abbey School, Milton Abbas, Dorset, England.1 He was educated at Highgate School, Highgate, London, England.1 He graduated from Newcastle University, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Redesdale, of Redesdale, Northumberland [U.K., 1902] in 1991.1 He was created Baron Mitford, of Redesdale in the County of Northumberland [U.K. Life Peer] on 18 April 2000.3
