     Michael Vann was born in 1946.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Cdr. Bernard Vann and Bobyl Jane Hooper.¹

     Razek Mamar Bachi is the son of Aziz Mamar Bachi.¹ He married Emma Charlotte Hooper, daughter of Sir Frederic Collins Hooper, 1st Bt. and Prudence Avery Wenham, on 16 October 1968.¹

     Aziz Mamar Bachi lived at Aleppo, Syria.¹

     Eleanor Lang is the daughter of Very Rev. Marshall Buchanan Lang and Mary Eleanor Farquharson.¹ She married Sir Robert Holms-Kerr Hope, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Harry Hope, 1st Bt. and Margaret Binnie Holms-Kerr, on 4 July 1928.¹
     From 4 July 1928, her married name became Hope.¹

     Sir Robert Holms-Kerr Hope, 3rd Bt. was born on 12 April 1900.¹ He was the son of Sir Harry Hope, 1st Bt. and Margaret Binnie Holms-Kerr.¹ He married Eleanor Lang, daughter of Very Rev. Marshall Buchanan Lang and Mary Eleanor Farquharson, on 4 July 1928.¹ He died on 8 April 1993 at age 92.²
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Hope, of Kinnettles, co. Angus [U.K., 1932] on 8 October 1979.¹

     Sir Harry Hope, 1st Bt. was born on 24 September 1865.¹ He was the son of James Hope and Isabella Frances Deans.¹ He married Margaret Binnie Holms-Kerr, daughter of Robert Kerr Holms-Kerr, on 4 February 1897.¹ He died on 29 December 1959 at age 94.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bute between 1910 and 1918.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stirling and Clackmannan between 1918 and 1922.¹ He was appointed Knight on 24 June 1920.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Forfar between 1924 and 1931.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Hope, of Kinnettles, co. Angus [U.K.] on 13 January 1932.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Angus.¹ He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Angus.¹
