     Sir Roger Pryce Hawkey, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 June 1905.¹ He was the son of Sir Alfred James Hawkey, 1st Bt. and Vera Kathleen Price.² He married, firstly, Julia Elizabeth Austin, daughter of Arthur Austin, on 14 February 1931.² He and Julia Elizabeth Austin were divorced in 1947.² He married, secondly, Mabel Dorothy McConnell, daughter of Sir Thomas Edward McConnell, on 3 May 1947.² He died on 11 November 1975 at age 70.³
     He was educated at Chigwell School, Essex, England.² He was director of B. Finch and Co. Ltd at Barkingside, Essex, England.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.² He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hawkey, of Woodford, co. Essex [U.K., 1945] on 23 May 1952.¹

     Sir Alfred James Hawkey, 1st Bt. was born on 12 September 1877.¹ He was the son of Richard Hawkey.¹ He married Vera Kathleen Price, daughter of Francis Edward Price, on 14 June 1904.¹ He died on 23 May 1952 at age 74.¹
     He was educated at Woodford Collegiate and Commercial School, Woodford, Essex, England.¹ He was chairman of Tribunal of National Service Committee between 1914 and 1919.¹ He was chairman of Woodford U.D.C. in 1916.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1926.¹ He held the office of Mayor of Wanstead and Woodford in 1937.¹ He held the office of Mayor of the Borough of Woodford between 1943 and 1945.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Hawkey, of Woodford, co. Essex [U.K.] on 5 July 1945.¹

     Richard Hawkey lived at Sunny Croft, Woodford Green, Essex, England.¹

     Vera Kathleen Price was the daughter of Francis Edward Price.¹ She married Sir Alfred James Hawkey, 1st Bt., son of Richard Hawkey, on 14 June 1904.¹ She died on 30 November 1949.¹
     From 14 June 1904, her married name became Hawkey.¹

     Francis Edward Price lived at Plaistow, Essex, England.¹

     Dinah Mary Hawkey was born on 17 April 1910.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Alfred James Hawkey, 1st Bt. and Vera Kathleen Price.¹ She married Edward Clarke Pratt in 1931.¹
     From 1931, her married name became Pratt.¹

     Edward Clarke Pratt married Dinah Mary Hawkey, daughter of Sir Alfred James Hawkey, 1st Bt. and Vera Kathleen Price, in 1931.¹

     Julia Elizabeth Austin is the daughter of Arthur Austin.¹ She married Sir Roger Pryce Hawkey, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Alfred James Hawkey, 1st Bt. and Vera Kathleen Price, on 14 February 1931.¹ She and Sir Roger Pryce Hawkey, 2nd Bt. were divorced in 1947.¹
     From 14 February 1931, her married name became Hawkey.¹

     Arthur Austin lived at Little West Hatch, Chigwell, Essex, England.¹ He lived at 2 Grand Avenue Mansions, Hove, Sussex, England.¹

     Sarah Elizabeth Hawkey was born on 26 March 1935.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Roger Pryce Hawkey, 2nd Bt. and Julia Elizabeth Austin.¹ She married William de Vallieres Frith, son of William Frith, on 5 October 1960.¹
     From 5 October 1960, her married name became Frith.¹
