     Lt.-Col. Gerald Ward Martin was born on 29 May 1847. He married May Thackery. He married Susan Anne Marie Luard, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Luard and Elizabeth Scott, in 1876 at Chertsey, Surrey, England. He died on 14 October 1929 at age 82.

     Martin Martin was born circa 4 November 1877. He was the son of Lt.-Col. Gerald Ward Martin and Susan Anne Marie Luard. He died circa 4 November 1877.

     May Thackery was born in 1863. She married Lt.-Col. Gerald Ward Martin. She died in 1935.

     Major Erskine Thackery Martin was born on 31 January 1888 at Malabar Hill, Maharashtra, India. He was the son of Lt.-Col. Gerald Ward Martin and May Thackery. He died in 1955 at Palma de Mallorca, Baleares, Spain.
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)

     Commander Herbert Luard was born in 1911.¹ He was the son of Commander Herbert du Cane Luard and Bessie Ingles.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander on 6 January 1948 in the Royal Navy.

     Barbara Hunt was born in 1802.¹ She married Robert Thornewill, son of John Thornewill and Mary Mason, on 9 September 1823 at Matlock, Derbyshire, England.¹
     From 9 September 1823, her married name became Thornewill.¹
