     Arthur Messeena Trevor-Roper was born on 4 July 1876.¹ He was the son of Richard Henry Trevor-Roper and Grace Carr Messeena.¹ He married Mary Winifred Keel, daughter of James Keel, on 8 October 1902.¹ He died on 7 May 1966 at age 89.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901, with the Imperial Yeomanry.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the Devonshire Regiment.¹

     Mary Winifred Keel is the daughter of James Keel.¹ She married Arthur Messeena Trevor-Roper, son of Richard Henry Trevor-Roper and Grace Carr Messeena, on 8 October 1902.¹ She died in 1958.¹
     Her married name became Trevor-Roper.
