     Reverend John Fisher was born on 20 July 1797.1 He was the son of Reverend John Fisher and Matilda Wilkes.1 He married, firstly, Eliza Cartwright, daughter of Reverend John Cartwright.1 He married, secondly, Sophia Frances Harington, daughter of Reverend James Eyre Harington, on 19 January 1832.1 He died on 3 July 1868 at age 70.1
     He was Rector at Higham-on-the-Hill, Leicestershire, England.1
