     Sir John Holdsworth Dimsdale, 3rd Bt. was born on 31 December 1901.¹ He was the son of Sir John Holdsworth Dimsdale, 2nd Bt. and Edith Kate Cannacher.² He married, secondly, Arabella Gladys Ella Broughton.³ He married Gisela Panova Kanznerova in 1949.¹ He died in 1978.³
     He was educated at Oundle School, Oundle, Northamptonshire, England.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Dimsdale, of Goldsmiths, Langdon Hills, co. Essex [U.K., 1902] on 10 April 1923.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.³

     Sir John Holdsworth Dimsdale, 2nd Bt. was born on 10 February 1874.¹ He was the son of Sir Joseph Cockfield Dimsdale, 1st Bt. and Beatrice Eliza Bower Holdsworth.¹ He married, firstly, Edith Kate Cannacher, daughter of John Cannacher, on 31 January 1901.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Grace Harling, daughter of William John Harling, on 18 June 1912.¹ He died on 10 April 1923 at age 49.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Dimsdale, of Goldsmiths, Langdon Hills, co. Essex [U.K., 1902] on 10 August 1912.¹

     Sir Joseph Cockfield Dimsdale, 1st Bt. was born on 19 January 1849.¹ He was the son of Joseph Cockfield Dimsdale and Catharine Stephenson.^1,2 He married Beatrice Eliza Bower Holdsworth, daughter of Robert Hunt Holdsworth, on 11 February 1873.¹ He died on 10 August 1912 at age 63.¹
     He held the office of Sheriff of London in 1894.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1894.¹ He held the office of Member of the London City Council between 1895 and 1900.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for London between 1900 and 1906.¹ He held the office of Lord Mayor of London between 1901 and 1902.¹ He held the office of City Chamberlain between 1902 and 1912.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Dimsdale, of Goldsmiths, Langdon Hills, co. Essex [U.K.] on 23 July 1902.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)¹

     Joseph Cockfield Dimsdale was born on 2 April 1813.¹ He was the son of Joseph Dimsdale and Sarah Cockfield.^1,2 He married Catharine Stephenson, daughter of Thomas Stephenson, on 24 June 1846.² He died on 2 March 1879 at age 65.¹
     He lived at 52 Cleveland Square, London, England.²
