     Antony William Edmund Cope was born on 14 May 1876.¹ He was the son of Sir Anthony Cope, 13th Bt. and Mary Leckonby Phipps.¹ He married Eleanor Frances Percival Jubb, daughter of Robert Jubb, on 18 October 1922.¹ He died on 6 September 1962 at age 86, without issue.¹
