     Ernest Edmund Bourne was born on 7 January 1880.¹ He was the son of John Kemp Bourne and Anne Watson.¹ He married Cecil Mary Pughe, daughter of McKensie Pughe, on 12 July 1905.¹ He died on 4 December 1959 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     Cecil Mary Pughe was the daughter of McKensie Pughe.¹ She married Ernest Edmund Bourne, son of John Kemp Bourne and Anne Watson, on 12 July 1905.¹ She died on 4 May 1960.¹

     Roderick Kenneth Bourne was born on 23 November 1913.¹ He was the son of Ernest Edmund Bourne and Cecil Mary Pughe.¹ He married Rosalie von Broembsen on 11 January 1941.¹ He died in May 1942 at age 28, missing off Sri Lanka.¹
