William Gershom Collingwood was born on 6 August 1854 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.2 He was the son of William Collingwood and Marie Elisabeth Imhoff.2 He married Edith Mary Isaac in 1883.1,2 He died on 20 September 1932 at age 78.1
