     Colonel William Arnold Webster Levy-Lawson, 3rd Baron Burnham was born on 19 March 1864 at St. Pancras, London, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Edward Levy-Lawson, 1st Baron Burnham and Harriette Georgiana Webster.3 He married Sybil Mary Marshall, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Frederick Marshall and Adelaide Laura Howard, in 1887.3 He and Sybil Mary Marshall were divorced in 1912.3 He died on 14 June 1943 at age 79.3
     He was commissioned in 1884, in the service of the Scots Guards.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)4 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901, where he was twice mentioned in despatches.3 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and Brevet-Colonel in the 2nd Buckinghamshire Yeomanry.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Burnham, of Hall Barn, Beaconsfield, co. Bucks [U.K., 1903] on 20 July 1933.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Levy-Lawson, of Hall Barn, Beaconsfield, co. Bucks [U.K., 1892] on 20 July 1933.1
