     Maurice Spring Rice Bayly was born on 17 January 1850.¹ He was the son of Edward Symes Bayly and Catherine FitzGerald.¹ He married Jeanie Theodora Hayes, daughter of Captain Horace George Hayes and Eleanor Ann Pretyman, on 19 March 1880.¹ He died on 9 December 1900 at age 50.¹

     Jeanie Theodora Hayes was born in 1853 at Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, England^G.² She was the daughter of Captain Horace George Hayes and Eleanor Ann Pretyman.^1,2 She married Maurice Spring Rice Bayly, son of Edward Symes Bayly and Catherine FitzGerald, on 19 March 1880.¹
     From 19 March 1880, her married name became Bayly.¹

     Captain Horace George Hayes was born in 1824.² He married Eleanor Ann Pretyman in 1848.² He died in 1888.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 44th Regiment.¹

     Crofton Talbot Bayly-Vandeleur was born on 27 October 1881.¹ He was the son of Maurice Spring Rice Bayly and Jeanie Theodora Hayes.¹ He married Ruth Sidney Layard, daughter of Abel John Layard and Catherine Emma Hayes, on 24 November 1915.¹ He died on 26 October 1927 at age 45.¹
     He was given the name of Crofton Talbot Bayly at birth. On 26 April 1911 his name was legally changed to Crofton Talbot Bayly-Vandeleur by Royal Licence, on suceeding to the Wardenstown estate.¹

     Ruth Sidney Layard was born on 2 January 1887.² She is the daughter of Abel John Layard and Catherine Emma Hayes.^1,2 She married Crofton Talbot Bayly-Vandeleur, son of Maurice Spring Rice Bayly and Jeanie Theodora Hayes, on 24 November 1915.¹
     From 24 November 1915, her married name became Bayly-Vandeleur.¹

     Johann Friedrich I Kurfürst von Sachsen was born on 30 June 1503 at Torgau, Germany^G. He was the son of Johann Kurfürst von Sachsen and Sophie von Mecklenburg.¹ He married Sybille von der Mark-Kleve, daughter of Johann III Graf von der Mark Herzog von Kleve Jülich und Berg and Marie Herzogin von Jülich und Berg, circa 1526. He died on 3 March 1554 at age 50 at Weimar, Germany^G.
     Johann Friedrich I Kurfürst von Sachsen also went by the nick-name of Johann ‘the Magnanimous’.¹ He was a member of the House of Wettin.¹ He succeeded as the Kurfürst von Sachsen in 1532.¹ He was deposed as Elector of Saxony in 1547.

     Sybille von der Mark-Kleve was born on 17 July 1512. She was the daughter of Johann III Graf von der Mark Herzog von Kleve Jülich und Berg and Marie Herzogin von Jülich und Berg. She married Johann Friedrich I Kurfürst von Sachsen, son of Johann Kurfürst von Sachsen and Sophie von Mecklenburg, circa 1526. She died on 21 February 1554 at age 41 at Weimar, Germany^G.

     Sybil Marie von Sachsen-Weimar was born on 7 November 1563 at Weimar, Germany^G. She was the daughter of Johann Wilhelm Herzog von Sachsen-Weimar and Dorothea Susanna von der Pfalz. She died on 20 February 1569 at age 5 at Altenburg, Germany^G.
