     Reverend Arthur Thomas was born on 16 February 1816.¹ He was the son of Inigo Thomas and Hon. Frances Anne Brodrick.¹ He married Julia Skrine, daughter of Julian Skrine, on 18 March 1840.¹
     He lived at Rottingdean, Sussex, England.¹

     Sir George Alan Thomas, 7th Bt. was born on 14 June 1881 at Tarabaya, Istanbul, Turkey.¹ He was the son of Sir George Sidney Meade Thomas, 6th Bt. and Edith Margaret Foster.^1,2 He died on 23 July 1972 at age 91 at Chelsea, London, England.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.² He fought in the First World War.² He fought in the Lieutenant, 1/6th Battalion, Hampshire Regiment.² He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Thomas, of Yapton Place, co. Sussex [G.B., 1766] on 9 January 1918.² He was awarded the All England Badminton Champion between 1920 and 1923.² He was awarded the British Chess Champion in 1923.² He was awarded the British Chess Champion in 1935.² On his death his baronetcy became extinct.²

     Emily Harriet Wigram was born in 1832.² She was the daughter of Edward Wigram and Catherine Smith.¹ She died in 1850, unmarried.^1,2

     Catherine Hardie married Peter Hallam Wigram, son of Edmund Hugh Lewis Wigram and Kathleen Maud Hallam, in 1987.¹
     From 1987, her married name became Wigram.¹

     Sarah Sophia Thornhill is the daughter of Henry Badham Thornhill and Catherine Odell.¹
