     Sir Henry Marsh, 1st Bt. was born in 1790 at Loughrea, County Galway, Ireland.1 He was the son of Reverend Robert Marsh and Sophia Wolseley.1 He died on 1 December 1860 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was professor of medicine in 1827 at Dublin College of Surgeons, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He held the office of Physcian-in-Ordinary to the Queen in Ireland in 1837.1 He was created 1st Baronet Marsh [U.K.] in 1839. He graduated in 1840 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was president of the Irish Royal College of Physicians between 1841 and 1842.1 He was president of the Irish Royal College of Physicians between 1845 and 1846.1
