     Samuel Crowther was born on 8 April 1764.¹ He married Ann Booth, daughter of Nathaniel Booth, in 1786.¹ He died on 16 November 1840 at age 76.¹
     He lived at Dean Hall, Morley, Yorkshire, England.¹ He had five older sons and five daughters.¹

     William Billbrough married Mary Ann Crowther, daughter of Caleb Crowther and Hannah Holdsworth.¹

     Ann Booth was the daughter of Nathaniel Booth.¹ She married Samuel Crowther in 1786.¹ She died on 26 January 1835.¹
     From 1786, her married name became Crowther.¹

     Hon. Nicola Mary Crowther was born on 27 January 1950.¹ She is the daughter of Geoffrey Crowther, Baron Crowther and Margaret Worth.¹

     Samuel Crowther was born on 19 February 1851.¹ He was the son of Caleb Crowther.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Turner in February 1873.¹ He married, secondly, Grace Bancroft Ineson, daughter of James Ineson, in December 1874.¹ He married, thirdly, Mary Agnes Pitts in December 1910.¹ He died in 1927.¹

     Professor Charles Crowther was born on 6 August 1876.¹ He was the son of Samuel Crowther and Grace Bancroft Ineson.¹ He married Hilda Louise Reed, daughter of Henry Ord Reed and Elizabeth Louisa Richardson, on 4 April 1904.¹ He died on 8 December 1964 at age 88.¹
     He was educated at Batley Grammar School, Batley, Yorkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1898 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Leipzig University, Leipzig, Brandenburg, Germany, in 1901 with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)¹ He was Professor of Agricultural Chemistry between 1913 and 1919 at University of Leeds, Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, England^G.¹ He was principal between 1922 and 1944 at Harpers Agriculture College, Newport, Shropshire, England.¹

     Rachel Louise Crowther was born on 13 February 1965.¹ She is the daughter of Hon. Charles Worth Crowther and Barbara Hancox.¹

     Judith Vail Crowther was born on 28 January 1935.¹ She was the daughter of Geoffrey Crowther, Baron Crowther and Margaret Worth.¹ She died on 11 June 1955 at age 20.¹
