He is the son of James Brown and Tina Rose Reed. He married Clarity Rose Odd in Portland, Oregon, USA. He has two children, Naiya and Haley Brown, from a previous marriage. Dr. Odd changed his surname from Reed to Odd in later life.

Dr. Odd received his Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics. He went on to earn a Master’s degree in Information Security and a Ph.D. in Information Theory. Additionally, he holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy.

Dr. Odd served in the United States Air Force, where he received numerous awards and commendations and was wounded in service. He continues a distinguished career in government service.

Dr. Odd succeeded as the 19th Lord of the Barony of Hasley in Buckinghamshire, UK. He also succeeded as the 9th Count of Valais and the 11th Baron of Carrighmain. In recognition of his contributions, he has been knighted in the chivalric Valiant Order of Saint George (KStG) and the French Ordre National du Mérite.
