     Her married name became Beatty.

     Major William Vandeleur Beatty was baptised on 14 July 1873 at Malpas, Cheshire, England.² He was the son of Captain David Longfield Beatty and Katherine Edith Sadleir.¹ He married, firstly, Amy Florence Wood on 6 November 1904 at Leamington, Warwickshire, England.² He married, secondly, Hon. Victoria Alexandrina Sibell FitzRoy, daughter of Charles Henry FitzRoy, 4th Baron Southampton and Lady Hilda Mary Dundas, on 21 January 1925.³ He and Hon. Victoria Alexandrina Sibell FitzRoy were divorced in 1941.¹ He died on 23 January 1953 at age 79.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 19th Queen’s Own Hussars.¹ He was given the name of Vandeleur Schruder Beattie at birth.² He lived at Phantom House, Newmarket, Cambridgeshire, England.³

     Hon. Ismay Hilda Margaret FitzRoy was born on 3 December 1908.¹ She is the daughter of Charles Henry FitzRoy, 4th Baron Southampton and Lady Hilda Mary Dundas.¹ She married Brigadier Walter Morley Sale, son of Charles Vincent Sale, on 8 February 1928.¹
     Her married name became Sale. She lived in 2003 at King’s Reach Nursing Home, Alcrest Way, Jurby Road, Ramsey, Isle of Man.¹

     Brigadier Walter Morley Sale was the son of Charles Vincent Sale.¹ He married Hon. Ismay Hilda Margaret FitzRoy, daughter of Charles Henry FitzRoy, 4th Baron Southampton and Lady Hilda Mary Dundas, on 8 February 1928.¹ He died on 29 August 1976.¹
     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Horse Guards.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)¹ He held the office of Crown Equerry between 1955 and 1961.¹ He held the office of Extra Equerry to HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1961.¹
