Reverend John Wynne was born in 1667.3 He was the son of John Wynne.3 He married Anne Pugh, daughter of Robert Pugh, in 1720.3 He died on 15 July 1743 at Soughton, Northamptonshire, England.3
He was educated at Jesus College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.3 He was Lady Margaret Professor of Divinity between 1705 and 1715 at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.3 He graduated on 24 January 1705/6 with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)3 He held the office of Bishop of St. Asaph from 1714/15 to 1727.3 He held the office of Bishop of Bath and Wells between 1727 and 1743.1
