     Edward Banbury was born on 15 August 1859.1 He was the son of William Banbury and Harriet Grout.1 He married Frances Mary King-Hall, daughter of Admiral Sir William King-Hall, on 15 December 1883.1 He died on 16 February 1933 at age 73.1
