Sir William Dolben, 3rd Bt. was born on 12 January 1727.3 He was the son of John Dolben, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Digby.3 He married Judith English, daughter of Somerset English, on 17 May 1758.3 He married Charlotte Affleck, daughter of Gilbert Affleck and Anna Dolben, on 14 October 1799.1 He died on 20 March 1814 at age 87.1
He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Dolben, of Finedon [E., 1704] in 1756. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Oxford University in 1768.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northamptonshire between 1768 and 1774.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Oxford University between 1780 and 1806.3
