     Mary Backhouse is the daughter of James Backhouse.¹ She married Richard Janson, son of William Janson and Mary Hill.¹
     Her married name became Janson.¹

     James Backhouse lived at Darlington, County Durham, England.¹

     Mary Jane Janson was born in 1824.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Janson and Mary Backhouse.¹ She died in 1838.¹
