Sir William Jenner, 1st Bt.1 

Sir William Jenner, 1st Bt. was born on 30 January 1815 at Chatham, Kent, England.1 He was the son of John Jenner and Elizabeth Terry.1 He married Adela Lucy Leman Adey, daughter of Stephen Adey, in 1858.1 He died on 11 December 1898 at age 83 at Greenwod, Bishop’s Waltham, Hampshire, England.1
He graduated from University College London, London, England, in 1844 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.) in 1852.1 He gained the title of 1st Baronet Jenner on 25 February 1868. He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1872.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) on 24 May 1889.1
