     He was founder of the Ashanti Goldfields Corporation.¹

     Wilfred Nield was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Herbert Nield.¹ He died in 1916, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹

     Alan Edgar Nield was born in 1895.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Herbert Nield and Mabel Owen Cory-Wright.¹
     He fought in the First World War, with the Australian Imperial Forces.¹ He was admitted to Australian Bar in 1924 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He was registered as a Chartered Accountant.¹ He was admitted to Australian Bar in 1933 entitled to practise as a solicitor.¹

     Major Charles Palgrave Woodward was born in 1882.² He was the son of Robert Woodward and Mary Jane Turner.¹ He married Dorothy Margaret Porter.¹ He died in 1947.²
     He was commissioned on 10 December 1902 with the rank of Lieutenant, in the service of the East Kent Regiment.¹ He gained the rank of Captain on 11 August 1909 in the Indian Army.¹ He held the office of Magistrate [India] on 11 August 1919.¹

     Dorothy Margaret Porter was born in 1890.² She married Major Charles Palgrave Woodward, son of Robert Woodward and Mary Jane Turner.¹ She died in 1974.²
     Her married name became Woodward.¹

     Virginia Caroline Roberta Woodward was born posthumously on 12 April 1943.¹ She is the daughter of S/Ldr. Robert Sinckler Woodward and Virginia Cade Stair.¹ She married Andrew David Tweedy.²
     Her married name became Tweedy.²

     Christopher Lawrence Sainty was born on 7 May 1900 at Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Frederick Martin Sainty and Alice Cordelia Stockman.¹ He married Nancy Lee Miller.¹ He married Virginia Cade Stair, daughter of Arthur Cecil Stair and Ethel Della Cade, on 3 September 1949.¹ He died on 17 November 1997 at age 97 at Sussex, England.¹
     He graduated from University College London, London, England, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹

     Guy Stair Sainty was born on 7 December 1950 at Clayton Priory, Hassocks, Sussex, England.¹ He is the son of Christopher Lawrence Sainty and Virginia Cade Stair.¹ He married, firstly, Cynthia Hohne Volk, daughter of Kenneth Volk and Joyce Geary, on 4 February 1983.¹ He and Cynthia Hohne Volk were divorced in 1993.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Frost Pierson, daughter of W. DeVier Pierson and Shirley Phelps Frost, on 28 May 1995.¹
