     Henry George Lavie was born on 14 May 1849 at Belgaum, Bombay, India.¹ He was the son of Major Henry Lavie and Fanny Jones.¹ He married Gertrude Clara Harris on 24 October 1878 at St. Michael’s Church, Paddington, London, England.¹ He died in 1891 at Fairholme Road, Fulham, London, England.¹

     Gertrude Clara Harris was born in 1857 at Paddington, London, England.¹ She married Henry George Lavie, son of Major Henry Lavie and Fanny Jones, on 24 October 1878 at St. Michael’s Church, Paddington, London, England.¹ She died in 1936.¹
     From 24 October 1878, her married name became Lavie.¹

     Charles Ernest Lavie was baptised on 24 February 1854 at Hambledon, Hampshire, England.¹ He was the son of Major Henry Lavie and Fanny Jones.¹ He married Sophie Maria Eleanor Cosser.¹ He died on 18 June 1887 at age 33, at sea, on board S.S. Cappella.¹

     Flora Lavie was born in 1856 at Ashlington House, Hambledon, Hampshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Major Henry Lavie and Fanny Jones.¹ She died in 1910 at Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England, unmarried.¹

     Fanny Surridge was baptised on 26 July 1782 at Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.¹ She married George Haines Jones on 10 July 1821 at Southwick, Hampshire, England.¹ She died on 24 April 1846 at age 63 at Ashling House, Hambledon, Hampshire, England.¹
     From 10 July 1821, her married name became Jones.¹
