     Elizabeth Norcliffe was baptised on 11 October 1612 at St. Mary, Castlegate, Yorkshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Stephen Norcliffe and Elizabeth Udall.1 She married Sir James Pennyman, 1st Bt., son of James Pennyman, on 26 December 1632.1 She died circa 5 April 1678. She was buried on 8 April 1678.1
     From 26 December 1632, her married name became Pennyman.1

     Sir James Pennyman, 1st Bt. was born on 6 March 1607/8.1 He was the son of James Pennyman. He married Elizabeth Norcliffe, daughter of Stephen Norcliffe and Elizabeth Udall, on 26 December 1632.1 He died on 24 April 1679 at age 71.1
     He was created 1st Baronet Pennyman, of Ormesby Hall, co. York [England] on 22 February 1664.2
