Wilfred Russell Bailey, 3rd Baron Glanusk of Glanusk Park1
Wilfred Russell Bailey, 3rd Baron Glanusk of Glanusk Park was born on 27 June 1891.1 He was the son of Joseph Henry Russell Bailey, 2nd Baron Glanusk of Glanusk Park and Editha Elma Sergison.1 He married, firstly, Victoria Mary Enid Ann Dugdale, daughter of Colonel Frank Dugdale and Lady Eva Sarah Louise Greville, on 27 February 1919.1 He and Victoria Mary Enid Ann Dugdale were divorced in 1939.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Eldrydd Shoubridge, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Thomas Herbert Shoubridge and Constance Gladys Dugdale, on 17 March 1942.3 He died on 12 January 1948 at age 56.1
He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded twice.1 He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916 and bar (1919.)1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Breconshire.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Welsh Guards.1 He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Glanusk of Glanusk Park, co.
