Faulconbridge, on 2 April 1951.¹ He and Faith Tully Lilly Faulconbridge were divorced in 1967.¹ He married Baillie Klass, daughter of Alan Klass, on 18 September 1967.¹ He died on 16 January 2020 at age 95.²
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Pilot in the Royal Air Force.¹ He was a lecturer and tutor in English Langauge between 1964 and 1975 at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Faith Tully Lilly Faulconbridge was born in 1928.¹ She was the daughter of F. T. Faulconbridge.¹ She married Christopher John Reuel Tolkien, son of John Ronald Reuel Tolkien and Edith Mary Bratt, on 2 April 1951.¹ She and Christopher John Reuel Tolkien were divorced in 1967.¹ She died on 24 October 2017.²
     She graduated from St. Anne’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1950 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ From 2 April 1951, her married name became Tolkien.¹

     Simon Tolkien was born in 1959.¹ He is the son of Christopher John Reuel Tolkien and Faith Tully Lilly Faulconbridge.¹ He married Tracey Steinberg in 1984.¹

     Baillie Klass was born on 10 December 1941 at Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.¹ She is the daughter of Alan Klass.¹ She married Brian Knapheis.¹ She married Christopher John Reuel Tolkien, son of John Ronald Reuel Tolkien and Edith Mary Bratt, on 18 September 1967.¹
     Her married name became Knapheis.¹ She graduated from University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, in 1962 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ She graduated from St. Hilda’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1964 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ From 18 September 1967, her married name became Tolkein.¹

     Alan Klass was born in 1907.¹ He died in 2000.¹

     Brian Knapheis married Baillie Klass, daughter of Alan Klass.¹

     Adam Reuel Tolkien was born in 1969.¹ He is the son of Christopher John Reuel Tolkien and Baillie Klass.¹

     Rachel Clare Reuel Tolkien was born in 1971.¹ She is the daughter of Christopher John Reuel Tolkien and Baillie Klass.¹
