Reverend Henry Venn1 

Reverend Henry Venn was born on 2 March 1724/25 at Barnes, Surrey, England.1 He married, firstly, Eling Bishop, daughter of Reverend Thomas Bishop, on 10 May 1757.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Ascough, daughter of Reverend James Ascough, in July 1771.1 He died on 24 June 1797 at age 72 at Clapham, London, England.1
He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1745/46 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1749 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Vicar between 1759 and 1771 at Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England.1 He wrote the book Compleat Duty of Man, published 1763.1
