     From 5 April 1870, her married name became Hogarth.¹

     Major Joseph Hogarth was born on 11 April 1837 at Old Machar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He married Mary Pirie, daughter of Frances Pirie and Euphemia Hogarth, on 5 April 1870 at Newhills, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He died in 1881.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 43rd Light Infantry.¹

     Joseph Hatchell Hogarth was born on 23 December 1873 at Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Major Joseph Hogarth and Mary Pirie.¹ He married Sophia Louise Clegg on 10 February 1909 at Westminster Christ Church, Broadway, London, England.¹

     Sophia Louise Clegg was born circa 1875 at Ampthill, Bedfordshire, England.¹ She married Joseph Hatchell Hogarth, son of Major Joseph Hogarth and Mary Pirie, on 10 February 1909 at Westminster Christ Church, Broadway, London, England.¹
     From 10 February 1909, her married name became Hogarth.¹

     Marjorie Mary Hogarth was born in January 1910 at London, England.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Hatchell Hogarth and Sophia Louise Clegg.¹ She died on 4 November 1918 at age 8.¹

     Ernest Robert Joyce Lindner was born in 1894 at Germany.¹ He was the son of Ernst Robert Lindner and Ina Violet Logie-Pirie.¹

     Rear-Admiral Claude Congreve Dobson, V.C. was born on 1 January 1885 at Clifton, Bristol, England.¹ He was the son of Nelson Congreve Dobson and Louisa Alice Pierce.¹ He married Edith Archibald MacMechan on 19 October 1920 at Emmanuel Church, Clifton, Bristol, England.¹ He died on 26 June 1940 at age 55 at Chatham, Kent, England.¹
     He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) in 1919, for his actions on for commanding an attack by the Coastal Motor Boat Flotilla against Kronstadt Habour.¹
