     General Count Frederick Maurice von Heiden was born on 15 September 1821 at Russia.1 He was the son of Admiral Lodewijk Sigismund Gustavus von Heiden and Anne-Marie Akeleye.1 He married Countess Elisabeth Zubov, daughter of Count Nikolay Dmitrievich Zubov and Countess Alexandra Raimond-Modène.1 He died on 18 January 1900 at age 78.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in 1849 in the Imperial Russian Army.1 He fought in the Crimean War.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1855.1 He gained the rank of General in 1870.1 He held the office of Governor-General of Finland between 1881 and 1898.1
