     Sir Edward Clive was born in 1704.¹ He was the son of Edward Clive and Sarah Key.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Symons, daughter of Richard Symons.¹ He married, secondly, Judith Clive, daughter of Reverend Benjamin Clive and Susannah Floyer.¹ He died on 16 April 1771, without issue.¹
     He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn in 1725 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for St. Michael’s, Cornwall in 1741.¹ He held the office of Baron of the Exchequer in 1745.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1753.¹ He held the office of Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in 1753.¹ He lived at Wormbridge, Herefordshire, England.¹

     Elizabeth Symons is the daughter of Richard Symons.¹ She married Sir Edward Clive, son of Edward Clive and Sarah Key.¹
     Her married name became Clive.¹

     Richard Symons lived at Mynde Park, Herefordshire, England.¹

     Judith Clive is the daughter of Reverend Benjamin Clive and Susannah Floyer.^1,2 She married Sir Edward Clive, son of Edward Clive and Sarah Key.¹

     Hugo Clive Herbert was born on 1 July 1965.¹ He was the son of Hon. Andrew Clive Herbert and Carol Mae Charlton.¹ He died in 1985.¹

     Elizabeth Amphlett is the daughter of R. Amphlett.¹ She married Robert Clive, son of George Clive and Mary Husbands.¹
     Her married name became Clive.¹

     R. Amphlett lived at the Four Ashes, Worcestershire, England.¹

     Reverend Robert Clive is the son of Reverend Benjamin Clive and Susannah Floyer.¹ He married Rebecca Clive, daughter of Richard Clive and Rebecca Gaskell, on 26 November 1759.¹
     He held the office of Prebendary of Westminster.¹ He was Rector at Moreton, England.¹

     Rebecca Clive was the daughter of Richard Clive and Rebecca Gaskell.¹ She married Reverend Robert Clive, son of Reverend Benjamin Clive and Susannah Floyer, on 26 November 1759.¹ She died in 1825.¹
