     Georgina Frances Wingfield-Stratford was born on 13 September 1910.¹ She was the daughter of Francis Mervyn Wingfield-Stratford and Nora Matthey.¹ She died on 25 April 1924 at age 13.¹

     Richard Mervyn Wingfield was born in 1894.¹ He was the son of Richard William Wingfield and Jessie Emily Kennedy.¹ He married Lynette Agnes Cowper, daughter of Major Sydney Cowper, on 11 February 1918.¹ He died in 1951.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He fought in the First World War, in South-West Africa and France, where he was wounded.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Lynette Agnes Cowper was the daughter of Major Sydney Cowper.¹ She married Richard Mervyn Wingfield, son of Richard William Wingfield and Jessie Emily Kennedy, on 11 February 1918.¹ She died on 22 January 1968.¹
     From 11 February 1918, her married name became Wingfield.¹

     Major Sydney Cowper lived at Wynberg, Cape Province, South Africa.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹

     Richard Sydney Mervyn Wingfield was born on 5 March 1923.¹ He was the son of Richard Mervyn Wingfield and Lynette Agnes Cowper.¹ He died on 12 April 1945 at age 22 at Italy, killed in action.^1,2
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the South African Air Force.¹

     Lynette Clare Wingfield was born on 7 March 1919.¹ She is the daughter of Richard Mervyn Wingfield and Lynette Agnes Cowper.¹ She married, firstly, Colin Youart Tose in 1940.¹ She and Colin Youart Tose were divorced in 1943.¹ She married, secondly, Colonel Jan Andries Beyers Sandenbergh in 1943.¹
     From 1940, her married name became Tose.¹ From 1943, her married name became Sandenbergh.¹

     Colin Youart Tose married Lynette Clare Wingfield, daughter of Richard Mervyn Wingfield and Lynette Agnes Cowper, in 1940.¹ He and Lynette Clare Wingfield were divorced in 1943.¹

     Colonel Jan Andries Beyers Sandenbergh married Lynette Clare Wingfield, daughter of Richard Mervyn Wingfield and Lynette Agnes Cowper, in 1943.¹
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the South African Air Force.¹
