     John Fellowes Wallop, 7th Earl of Portsmouth was born on 27 December 1859.¹ He was the son of Isaac Newton Wallop, 5th Earl of Portsmouth and Lady Eveline Alicia Juliana Herbert.¹ He died on 7 September 1925 at age 65, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Portsmouth, co. Southampton [G.B., 1743] on 4 December 1917.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Lymington, County of Southampton [G.B., 1720] on 4 December 1917.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baron Wallop, of Farley Wallop, co. Southampton [G.B., 1720] on 4 December 1917.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.¹ He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Devon.¹ He was Private Secretary to the Governor of Tasmania.¹

     John Wallop was the son of Henry Wallop and Dorothy Bluet.¹ He married Alicia Borlase, daughter of William Borlase and Joanna Bankes.¹ He died on 29 January 1693/94.¹

     Henry Wallop was the son of Robert Wallop.¹ He married Dorothy Bluet, daughter of John Bluet.¹ He died on 25 January 1673.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Whitchurch circa 1660.¹

     Robert Wallop was born on 20 July 1601.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Wallop and Elizabeth Corbet.¹ He married, firstly, Lady Anne Wriothesley, daughter of Henry Wriothesley, 3rd Earl of Southampton and Elizabeth Vernon.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth (?)¹ He died on 19 November 1667 at age 66 at Tower of London, London, England.¹
     He was educated at Hart Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Sir Henry Wallop was born in 1568.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Wallop and Katherine Gifford.¹ He married Elizabeth Corbet, daughter of Sir Robert Corbet.¹ He died on 5 November 1642.¹
     He acquired the manor and seat of Red Castle through his wife.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1599.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) between 1601 and 1642.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Hampshire from 1602 to 1603.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Shropshire in 1605.¹ He held the office of Member of the Council of Marches of Wales in 1617.¹ He also had five daughters.¹

     Sir Henry Wallop was born circa 1540.¹ He was the son of Sir Oliver Wallop and Anne Martin.¹ He married Katherine Gifford, daughter of Richard Gifford.¹ He died on 14 April 1599.¹
     He was appointed Knight in 1569.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire in 1569.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Southamptonshire in 1572.¹ He held the office of Vice-Treasurer of Ireland in 1579.¹ He held the office of Lord Justice of Ireland between 1582 and 1599.¹ In 1591 he entertained Queen Elizabeth I at Farley Wallop.¹

     Sir Oliver Wallop was the son of Stephen Wallop and unknown daughter Ashley.¹ He married, firstly, Bridget Pigot.¹ He married, secondly, Anne Martin, daughter of Robert Martin.¹ He died in 1566.¹
     He lived at Portsmouth, Hampshire, England^G.² He was appointed Knight in 1547.¹ He fought in the Battle of Musselburgh in 1547.¹

     Stephen Wallop is the son of John Wallop.¹ He married unknown daughter Ashley, daughter of Hugh Ashley.¹

     John Wallop was the son of Thomas Wallop and Margaret Valoynes.¹ He died in 1486.¹
     He inherited the estates of the Valoynes thorugh his mother.² He held the office of Sheriff of Hampshire circa 1455.² He held the office of Sheriff of Hampshire in 1461.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hampshire circa 1473.²

     Thomas Wallop is the son of John Wallop and Avice Buck.¹ He married Margaret Valoynes, daughter of Nicholas Valoynes.¹
