     Emma Mary Halsted was born on 13 October 1804 at Stanstead, Essex, England.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral Sir Lawrence William Halsted and Hon. Emma Mary Pellew.¹ She married Reverend George Martin Braune on 27 October 1834 at Parish Church of Tor-Moham, Tor-Moham, Devon, England.¹
     From 27 October 1834, her married name became Braune.¹

     Reverend George Martin Braune was born in 1811 at India.¹ He married Emma Mary Halsted, daughter of Admiral Sir Lawrence William Halsted and Hon. Emma Mary Pellew, on 27 October 1834 at Parish Church of Tor-Moham, Tor-Moham, Devon, England.¹ He died on 9 February 1874 at Brussels, Belgium.¹

     Charles Nicholas Biesterfeld was born circa 1840 at Hamburg, Germany.¹ He married Agnes Millicent Braune, daughter of Reverend George Martin Braune and Emma Mary Halsted, on 16 December 1874 at Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Paddington, London, England.¹ He died in 1901.¹
