(Whig) for Malton between 1792 and 1798.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1794.¹ He was Chief Secretary to Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland between 1794 and 1795.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1795.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Naas [Ireland] between 1795 and 1797.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Milton of Milton Abbey, co. Dorset [G.B., 1792] on 12 January 1798.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Milton of Shronehill, co. Tipperary [I., 1753] on 12 January 1798.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Milton of Milton Abbey, co.      Williamsa Janssen is the daughter of William Janssen.¹ She married Hon. Lionel Damer, son of Joseph Damer, 1st Earl of Dorchester and Lady Caroline Sackville, on 16 April 1778.¹
     From 16 April 1778, her married name became Damer.¹

     William Janssen is the son of Sir Theodore Janssen, 1st Bt. and Williamsa Henley.¹

     Sir Stephen Theodore Janssen, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Theodore Janssen, 1st Bt. and Williamsa Henley.¹ He died in 1777.²

     John Damer was born on 27 October 1720.¹ He was the son of Joseph Damer and Mary Churchill.¹ He married Martha Rush, daughter of Samuel Rush.¹ He died on 26 December 1783 at age 63.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dorchester.¹ He lived at Winterbourne-Came, Dorset, England.¹

     Martha Rush is the daughter of Samuel Rush.¹ She married John Damer, son of Joseph Damer and Mary Churchill.¹
     Her married name became Damer.¹
