     Captain Harrington Campbell Onslow was born on 11 August 1837.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Campbell Onslow and Anne Moriarty Douglas.1 He married, firstly, Helen Jane Allardice, daughter of William Patrick Allardice and Anna Maria Macdiarmid, on 8 December 1864.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Steer Riding, daughter of Roger Riding, on 5 April 1873.1 He died on 15 September 1881 at age 44.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

     Helen Jane Allardice was born on 29 October 1837 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of William Patrick Allardice and Anna Maria Macdiarmid.1,2 She married Captain Harrington Campbell Onslow, son of Lt.-Col. William Campbell Onslow and Anne Moriarty Douglas, on 8 December 1864.1 She died on 20 July 1871 at age 33 at Geneva, Switzerland.1,2
     From 8 December 1864, her married name became Onslow.1
