     From 12 May 1903, her married name became Smith.¹

     Gerard Hamilton Smith was the son of Sir Gerard Smith.¹ He married Lucy Elizabeth Madeleine Onslow, daughter of Sir Alexander Campbell Onslow and Madeline Emma Tottenham, on 12 May 1903.¹ He died on 16 October 1962.¹

     Sir Gerard Smith was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹

     Lt.-Col. Francis Montgomery Onslow was born on 9 November 1843.¹ He was the son of Arthur Pooley Onslow and Rosa Roberta MacLeay.¹ He married Mary Charlotte Girardot, daughter of Reverend John Girardot, on 1 June 1881.¹ He died on 30 January 1932 at age 88.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel|Madras Cavalry.¹

     Mary Charlotte Girardot was the daughter of Reverend John Girardot.¹ She married, firstly, Brig.-Gen. Frederick W. Jebb before 1881.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Francis Montgomery Onslow, son of Arthur Pooley Onslow and Rosa Roberta MacLeay, on 1 June 1881.¹ She died on 17 September 1938.¹
     From before 1881, her married name became Jebb.¹ From 1 June 1881, her married name became Onslow.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Frederick W. Jebb married Mary Charlotte Girardot, daughter of Reverend John Girardot, before 1881.¹ He died before 1881.¹

     Anne Moriarty Douglas was the daughter of Vice-Admiral P. J. Douglas.¹ She married Lt.-Col. William Campbell Onslow, son of Reverend Arthur Onslow and Marianna Campbell, on 22 September 1836.¹ She died on 6 January 1892.¹
     From 22 September 1836, her married name became Onslow.¹
