Niall ‘Culanach’, King of Cenel Eoghain1

     Niall ‘Culanach’, King of Cenel Eoghain was the son of Domnall Óg, King of Ulster and Cicely (?)1 He died after 1291, murdered by supporters of Domnall.1
     He gained the title of King of Cenel Eoghain in 1261.1 In 1263 he was deposed as King of Cenel Eoghain by his brother Aedh.1 He gained the title of King of Cenel Eoghain in 1286, deposing Domhall with Norman help.1 In 1290 he was deposed as King of Cenel Eoghain.1 He gained the title of King of Cenel Eoghain in 1291, again with Norman help.1

Brian O’Neill1

     Brian O’Neill was the son of Henry, King of Ulster.1 He died in 1369.1
     In 1326 he was taken prisoner while Tanist of Clannaboy by the English.1 He held the position of Chief of Clannaboy from between 1347 and 1369.1 In 1354 he was defeated an invasion of Clannaboy by his kinsman and nominal suzerain Aedh O’Neill, King of Ulster.1
