     Walter Butler was born on 10 February 1821.¹ He was the son of Hon. Pierce Butler and Anne March.¹ He married Maria Emily Farrell, daughter of Michael Farrell, in September 1852.¹ He died on 22 October 1900 at age 79.¹

     Maria Emily Farrell was the daughter of Michael Farrell.¹ She married Walter Butler, son of Hon. Pierce Butler and Anne March, in September 1852.¹ She died on 21 April 1902.¹
     From September 1852, her married name became Butler.¹

     Theobald Butler was born on 22 October 1853.¹ He was the son of Walter Butler and Maria Emily Farrell.¹ He married, firstly, Jane Stuart, daughter of William Edward Stuart, on 15 April 1882.¹ He and Jane Stuart were divorced.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Marie Terese Frazscher, daughter of Hermann Frazscher, in 1894.² He died in 1917.²

     Jane Stuart was the daughter of William Edward Stuart.¹ She married Theobald Butler, son of Walter Butler and Maria Emily Farrell, on 15 April 1882.¹ She and Theobald Butler were divorced.¹ She died on 30 January 1931.¹
     From 15 April 1882, her married name became Butler.¹

     Major Theobald Stuart Butler was born on 26 June 1884.¹ He was the son of Theobald Butler and Jane Stuart.¹ He married Edith Sarah Chilton, daughter of Joseph Chilton, on 4 September 1919.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Engineers.¹ He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)¹ He was Regional Technical Advisor, Ministry of Home Security during the Second World War.¹

     Edith Sarah Chilton is the daughter of Joseph Chilton.¹ She married Major Theobald Stuart Butler, son of Theobald Butler and Jane Stuart, on 4 September 1919.¹
     From 4 September 1919, her married name became Butler.¹

     Joseph Chilton lived at Southgate, London, England.¹

     James Stuart Butler was born on 28 March 1928.¹ He was the son of Major Theobald Stuart Butler and Edith Sarah Chilton.¹ He died on 12 August 1937 at age 9.¹
