     Major Walter Theobald Butler was born on 11 February 1853.¹ He was the son of Henry Butler and Clare Taylor.¹ He died on 16 October 1931 at age 78.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 5th Battalion, Royal Irish Regiment.¹ He lived at Kilmurry, Thomastown, County Kilkenny, Ireland.¹

     Isabel Harriet Butler was the daughter of Henry Butler and Clare Taylor.¹ She died on 1 April 1935.¹

     Mildred Anne Butler was the daughter of Henry Butler and Clare Taylor.¹ She died on 11 October 1941, unmarried.¹
     She exhibited at the Royal Academy and elsewhere.¹

     Somerset Butler was born in 1808.¹ He was the son of Hon. Pierce Butler and Anne March.¹ He died on 21 January 1850, unmarried.¹
     He lived at Belvedere House, Sandymount, County Dublin, Ireland.¹

     Thomas Butler was born in 1810.¹ He was the son of Hon. Pierce Butler and Anne March.¹ He died in 1848, without issue.¹

     William Butler was born on 8 August 1814.¹ He was the son of Hon. Pierce Butler and Anne March.¹ He married Catherine Walsh, daughter of John Walsh, on 15 April 1841.¹ He died on 24 May 1847 at age 32.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹

     Catherine Walsh was the daughter of John Walsh.¹ She married William Butler, son of Hon. Pierce Butler and Anne March, on 15 April 1841.¹ She died in December 1844.¹
     From 15 April 1841, her married name became Butler.¹

     Walter Butler was born in December 1842.¹ He was the son of William Butler and Catherine Walsh.¹ He died in 1850.¹
