     James Tayne Taine was born on 15 November 1894 at Dunedin, New Zealand.¹ He was the son of Walter Taine and Janet Gilmer.¹ He died in 1915 at Gallipoli, Turkey, drowned.¹
     He gained the rank of Gunner in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Henry Edward Wayne was born on 10 August 1910 at New Zealand.¹ He is the son of Frederick George Wayne and Fanny Bell Miller.¹
