     He held some of teh territory around Oswestry, Shropshire and Maelor Gymraeg.¹ He held the manor of Whittington, Shropshire.¹ Rhys ‘Sais’ ap Ednyfed also went by the nick-name of Rhys ‘the Saxon’.¹

     Tudor ap Rhys Sais is the son of Rhys ‘Sais’ ap Ednyfed and Efa ferch Gruffudd.¹
     He held Whittington until the Normans took it from him.¹ He was living between 1078 and 1086.¹ In 1086 he held Nanheudwy from Roger, Earl of Shrewsbury.¹

     He lived at Pen-gwern, Llangollen, Denbighshire, Wales.¹

     Angharad ferch Gruffudd is the daughter of Gruffudd ap Meilir Eutun.¹ She married Yr ‘Hen’ Iorwerth ap Owain, son of Owain ap Bleddyn.¹
