     Georgina Nefert Riall was born on 11 April 1942 at Cairo, Egypt.² She was the daughter of Major Anthony Claud Riall and Sylvia Lucy Robertson Reith.¹ She married George Edward Vere-Laurie, son of Lt.-Col. George Haliburton Foster Peel Vere-Laurie and Caroline Judith Francklin, on 2 June 1962.¹ She and George Edward Vere-Laurie were divorced in 1977.¹ She died on 16 March 2018 at age 75.²
     From 2 June 1962, her married name became Vere-Laurie.¹
