     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Mary Helen Townsend was born in 1833 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.¹ She married Reverend Christopher Haggard, son of John Rhodes Haggard and Caroline Hodgson, on 14 June 1859 at Wells, Somerset, England.¹ She died in 1875 at Devon, England.¹
     From 14 June 1859, her married name became Haggard.¹

     Emily Sarah Brown was born circa 1835 at Tulse Hill, Surrey, England.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Brown and Emma Parkinson Watts Keys Dimock.¹ She married Reverend Christopher Haggard, son of John Rhodes Haggard and Caroline Hodgson, on 24 May 1877 at St. Lawrence, Chertsey, Surrey, England.¹ She died on 1 November 1919 at Chertsey, Surrey, England.¹
     From 24 May 1877, her married name became Haggard.¹

     Edward Brown married Emma Parkinson Watts Keys Dimock, daughter of John Dimock and Emma Rook Parkinson.¹

     Emma Parkinson Watts Keys Dimock is the daughter of John Dimock and Emma Rook Parkinson.² She married Edward Brown.¹
