     Charlotte Taylor was born in 1842.¹ She married Henry Vivian Tippet, son of William Tippet and Harriet Louisa Miles, on 1 July 1862 at St. Mary’s Church, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.¹ She died in 1912.¹ She was buried at Skegness, Lincolnshire, England.¹
     From 1 July 1862, her married name became Tippet.¹

     Major Charles Henry Tippet was baptised on 28 June 1863 at Maltby, Yorkshire, England.¹ He was the son of Henry Vivian Tippet and Charlotte Taylor.¹ He married Edith Alice Goodson, daughter of James Goodson, in 1886 at Grantham, Lincolnshire, England.¹ He died on 7 August 1915 at age 52.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the 7th Battalion, Royal Dublin Fusiliers.² He fought in the First World War.²

     Edith Alice Goodson was born in 1863.¹ She was the daughter of James Goodson.¹ She married Major Charles Henry Tippet, son of Henry Vivian Tippet and Charlotte Taylor, in 1886 at Grantham, Lincolnshire, England.¹ She died in 1919.¹
     From 1886, her married name became Tippet.¹

     Irene Violet Sybil Tippet was born in 1888 at St. Woollos, Monmouthshire, Wales.¹ She was the daughter of Major Charles Henry Tippet and Edith Alice Goodson.¹

     James Goodson was born in 1830.¹ He died in 1875.¹

     Major Herbert Charles Coningsey Tippet was baptised on 27 February 1892 at St. Woollos, Monmouthshire, Wales.¹ He was the son of Major Charles Henry Tippet and Edith Alice Goodson.¹ He married Edith Marguerite Harrington, daughter of George Woods Harrington and Alice Edith Stillman, in 1921 at St. Martin’s-in-the-Fields, London, England.¹ He died on 28 November 1947 at age 55 at Sussex, England.²
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant on 2 April 1910 in the 4th (Reserve) Battalion, Royal Dublin Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the First World War, at the Somme and Passchendale.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain on 26 May 1940 in the General List.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Major on 1 January 1944.¹
