     Janet Patterson of Dunmore married Sir Robert Douglas of Glenbervie, 4th Bt., son of William Douglas and Agnes Scott, circa 1694.¹ She died on 9 February 1750.¹
     From circa 1694, her married name became Douglas.¹

     Sir William Douglas of Glenbervie, 5th Bt. was born circa 1690.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Douglas of Glenbervie, 4th Bt. and Mary Ruthven.¹ He married Isabel Douglas, daughter of John Douglas, circa 1718.¹ He died on 23 July 1764, without issue.¹
     He was a practising Advocate.¹ He was Provost between 1726 and 1745 at St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland.¹ He was Inspector of Customs [Scotland].¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Douglas, of Glenbervie, co. Kincardine [N.S., 1625] on 27 January 1748.¹

     Isabel Douglas was the daughter of John Douglas.¹ She married Sir William Douglas of Glenbervie, 5th Bt., son of Sir Robert Douglas of Glenbervie, 4th Bt. and Mary Ruthven, circa 1718.¹ She died on 11 May 1777.¹

     John Douglas lived at Garvald, Scotland.¹

     Dorothea Chester was the daughter of Anthony Chester.¹ She married Sir Robert Douglas of Glenbervie, 6th Bt., son of Sir Robert Douglas of Glenbervie, 4th Bt. and Janet Patterson of Dunmore.¹ She died, without issue.¹
     Her married name became Douglas.¹

     Anthony Chester held the office of Attorney-General [Barbados].¹

     Sir Alexander Douglas of Glenbervie, 7th Bt. was born in 1738.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Douglas of Glenbervie, 6th Bt. and Margaret Macdonald.¹ He married Barbara Carnegie, daughter of James Carnegie and Violet Naesmyth, in 1775.¹ He died on 28 November 1812, without surviving issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Douglas, of Glenbervie, co. Kincardine [N.S., 1625] on 24 April 1770.¹ He graduated from St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland, in 1780 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was Physician to the King’s Forces in Scotland.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (F.R.C.S.E.)¹ He wrote the book Peerage of Scotland.² On his death, his baronetcy became dormant.¹

     Anne Hay is the daughter of Alexander Hay.¹ She married Sir Robert Douglas of Glenbervie, 6th Bt., son of Sir Robert Douglas of Glenbervie, 4th Bt. and Janet Patterson of Dunmore.¹
     Her married name became Douglas.¹

     Alexander Hay lived at Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, England.¹
