     Edward Archibald Wolstan Beaumont Dixie was born on 15 July 1916.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Cdr. Albert Edward Wolstan Beaumont Dixie and Margaret Watson.¹ He died between 29 May 1940 and 31 May 1940 at Dunkirk, France, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Buckinghashire Battalion, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.¹

     Alice Jackson was the daughter of Joseph Jackson.¹ She married, firstly, Edward John Ewart, son of David Ewart, before 1906.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Alexander Beaumont Churchill Dixie, 11th Bt., son of Sir Alexander Beaumont Churchill Dixie, 10th Bt. and Maria Catharine Walters, on 21 July 1906.¹ She died on 16 July 1954.¹
     From before 1906, her married name became Ewart.¹ From 21 July 1906, her married name became Dixie.¹

     Edward John Ewart was the son of David Ewart.¹ He married Alice Jackson, daughter of Joseph Jackson, before 1906.¹ He died before 1906.¹
