     Sir John Lombe, 1st Bt. was born on 27 October 1730 at Dereham, Norfolk, England.1 He was the son of John Hase and Mary Lombe.1 He died on 27 May 1817 at age 86, unmarried.1
     He was given the name of John Hase at birth.1 In 1762 his name was legally changed to John Lombe.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Norfolk in 1772.1 He was created 1st Baronet Lombe, of Salle Park, co. Norfolk [Great Britain] in 1784.

     Vertue Repps was born in 1732 at Mattishall, Norfolk, England.1 She married Edward Hase, son of John Hase and Mary Lombe, on 16 April 1754 at Dereham, Norfolk, England.1 She died on 25 May 1801 at Salle, Norfolk, England.1
     From 16 April 1754, her married name became Hase.1
